It is with deep sadness and shock that the family of Alice Mae (Sissie) Feltus Westcott, announces her unexpected death on February 6, 2025, in Columbia, South Carolina. She was only 78 years old.
Funeral Services to celebrate her life will be held 11:00 am on Friday, February 14, 2025, at Temples-Halloran Funeral Home with entombment in Bush River Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends and family from 10:00 am until the hour of service on Friday. A Livestream of the services will begin at 10:50 am.
Alice was born in Staten Island, New York on December 12, 1946, to Francis and Wilma Feltus. She married her high school sweetheart, Robert, before his duty began during the Korean War. She later moved with her family to South Carolina in the early 1970’s. Her passions in life included pottery, painting, and spending summers with her family at the beach. Lately, she enjoyed coloring apps and word games on her tablet.
Most importantly, she loved taking care of her grandchildren and watching them grow. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her son, Jeffrey Westcott; a brother, Donnie Feltus and a nephew Jordan Feltus. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 58 years, Robert M. Westcott; a son, Patrick Westcott (Melissa), two grandchildren, Robert Conor Westcott (Chloe), Teresa Westcott; two brothers, Billy Feltus (Kathy), Artie Feltus and numerous extended family members.
