Bonnie Lee Harwick

September 8, 1944 — May 24, 2025

Bonnie Lee Harwick, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2025, in Columbia, South Carolina. She was born in Hazleton, Pennsylvania, to Katherine and Leslie Howells, and spent her life rooted in faith, family, and service to others.

Bonnie was a devoted member of Our Lady of the Hills Catholic Church, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister for 18 years. Her deep faith guided her daily life and inspired those around her. She loved to travel, especially cruising, and found great joy in creating beautiful crafts—crochet and cross-stitch were among her favorites.

Bonnie’s greatest pride was her family. She was a loving mother to Jason Harwick, Tiffany Brady, and Vanessa Imker, and a cherished grandmother to Megan, Spencer, and Travis Imker, Jaidyn Brady, and Samantha Bursick. Her love for her grandchildren was immeasurable, and she delighted in every moment spent with them.

She is also survived by her brother, Ronald Howells. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Franklin Brooke Harwick, whom she deeply missed, and by her brothers Rodrick and Bill Howells.

Bonnie is now reunited with the love of her life, Brooke, and finds eternal peace in their reunion.

A full Mass and celebration of her life will be held at a later date.

Temples-Halloran Funeral Home is proudly serving the family.
