Charles “Chuck” Ronald Wiggins, Jr., 53, passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 30, 2025, following a lengthy and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Chuck was born on January 5, 1972, in Columbia, South Carolina, to Charles and Renee Wiggins. From a young age, he had a love of music and was a natural athlete who loved and played sports of all kinds.
After graduating from Airport High School in 1990, his love of music became a passion and then grew into his calling. This led him to Vancouver, where he learned the art of building and crafting guitars, ultimately shaping a decade-long career in the music industry.
Chuck toured worldwide as a guitar technician and stage manager, working with national accounts including Crossfade, Marilyn Manson and Disturbed. His skill, dedication, and professionalism earned him respect from those on and off the stage.
Never one to be limited to a single path; Chuck was truly a jack of all trades. He worked in the construction and roofing fields for years and co-owned CMC, LLC, a construction company formed with close friends, and worked in various construction capacities, applying the same craftsmanship and work ethic that defined every aspect of his life.
Most importantly, Chuck will be remembered for his unwavering loyalty to his family and friends and he cherished time spent with them. He also took great pride in making sure his mom had everything she may need and have nothing to worry about after he was gone.
Chuck is survived by his parents, Charles R. Wiggins, Sr. and Renee Martin Wiggins, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins of the Wiggins/Brown/Martin family and his beloved dog, ChaCha.
