In Loving Memory

Connor Jakob Skipper, 27 of Irmo, South Carolina, adoring husband of Jenna Rogers Skipper, has gone to be with our Heavenly Father. He passed away on July 4th, 2025. He was born in West Columbia, S.C, and was the son of Jerry "Kip" Glynn (Jaden) Skipper, Jr., and Kimber Skipper (James) Mills. In addition to his wife, Jenna, his family is composed of three fur babies Gibson, Layla, and Enzo. He is also survived by his siblings Cole Skipper, Cohen Skipper, Silas Skipper, Brooke Kinsey (Cameron) Beste and his nephew Elijah. Surviving family includes his mother-in-love Gloria (Aaron) Rounsifer and father-in-love Johnny Rogers, his grandmother Jean Elmore Skipper and his aunts Sundee Skipper and Robyn Galloway, and their children Kayleigh (Jeff) Smola, Ashton Clonts, Rhett Galloway, Alex Galloway, and Mary Kate Galloway. He was predeceased by his “Poppa” Jerry Glynn Skipper, Sr., and his uncle Garrett Galloway Sr.

In 2015, Connor graduated from Irmo High School after successfully completing the mechanic program. Previously he worked at JT’s Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM of Lexington but was most recently a long-haul driver for UPS. During his tenure, he was awarded a certificate for 4 years of safe driving. Connor is remembered by previous co-workers as a hard working, good-hearted man.

He was intrigued by all machines ranging from Poppa's corvette, his dirt bike, his boat- even his lawnmower. If he was not driving for UPS, you would find him working in his garage, or driving the boat with his wife and friends around Lake Murray. His favorite way to spend a day off was taking Jenna and their friends out. He knew how to encourage friends to live life to the fullest. He never missed a day of sunshine outside on the lake or taking the corvette for a drive. He is remembered by all as a traditional man, with a servant's heart, and a mature sense of responsibility. Connor was most passionate about his wife Jenna, and the memories they would make together. They frequently visited Kip’s family in Florida as they loved traveling together. He was a very blessed young man.
