Constance Lorick Bloom, 96, of Irmo, passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2025.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday September 4, 2925 at Temples-Halloran Funeral Home, with visitation beginning one hour prior to the service.
Born on March 12, 1929, in Irmo, she was the daughter of Theo William and Agnes Meetze Lorick. A devoted wife and loving mother, Constance will be remembered for her warm and loving soul. She had a deep love for babies, and one of her greatest joys was volunteering in the nursery at Richland Memorial Hospital.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles Edwin Bloom, Jr. and Claytor Campbell; a sister, Norma Lorick Hallman (Ray); a brother, Alvin Lorick; and a daughter-in-law, Melanie Bloom.
She is survived by two sons, William Bloom and Charles Edwin Bloom III (Letsie); three grandchildren, Kristin Bloom, Kevin Bloom, and Melissa Bloom; and seven great-grandchildren, Zane Broadus, Elaine Broadus, Patton Broadus, Chase Broadus, Whitley Holder, Colton Holder, and Ellia Holder. She is also survived by a brother, Charles Lorick (Elizabeth), and a sister, Mary Agnes Turner.
