Dianna Leigh Sugg Walters, 78, passed away at her home on June 5, 2025, with her beloved husband and cherished fur babies by her side.
Born on November 8, 1946, at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida, Dianna was the daughter of Col. A.D. and Lila Sugg. A bright and accomplished student, she was an honor graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Dianna was a gifted artist, her wit was sharp, her spirit was feisty, and her charm unforgettable. She had a deep and abiding love for dogs and was a devoted mother to many beloved pups throughout her life. Dianna loved spending time at her lake house which she decorated with her artwork.
She was a member of Union United Methodist Church in Irmo, where she and her husband were united in marriage.
Dianna is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, James Durham Walters, Jr., and their three cherished fur babies, Winston, Tigger and Scrappy.
Her vibrant personality, warmth, and love of life will be deeply missed by all.
