Evelyn Pritchard Faulk

Evelyn Pritchard Faulk, 88, Columbia, went home to her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at Lexington Medical Center. The family will have a private graveside service in Bush River Memorial Gardens. Evelyn was born in Sumter, SC on October 6, 1933, to the late Joseph Thomas Pritchard and Ada Belle Mooneyham Pritchard. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Irmo and previously Gateway Baptist Church. She taught Sunday School and worked with youth throughout her life. She was the Lexington County Library Chairman for the Irmo Branch Library. Evelyn loved to sing, she enjoyed reading books and writing about life experiences. She was a devoted and loving grandmom and great-grandmom, and they all brought a big smile to her face. Evelyn was survived by her sons, Michael Faulk (Susan) and Jeff Faulk (Cheryl); daughter, Linda Faulk Stamps (Terrel); grandchildren, Carley, Jessica, Joseph, Elisa, Jonathan, and Christopher; great-grandchildren, Isabella, August, Kahlan, and Ellie. She was also survived by her sister Wanda Brunson. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Charles Edward Faulk; sister, Mary Hancock; two brothers, Raymond Pritchard and Tom Pritchard.
