Gail Thrailkill Dukes

IRMO—Funeral services for Gail Thrailkill Dukes, 76, of Irmo, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 11, 2018, at Saint Andrews Presbyterian Church, 6952 St. Andrews Road, Columbia, SC 29212. The Reverend Dr. Dale Welden will officiate. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, 501 Elmwood Ave., Columbia, SC 29201.The family will greet friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, May 10, 2018, at Temples Halloran Funeral Home, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29212. Mrs. Dukes passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2018, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.Born in Charleston, SC she was the daughter of the late John Emmitt Thrailkill, Sr. and Elizabeth Fullerton Thrailkill.She was a member of Saint Andrews Presbyterian Church, and a member of the choir and volunteered for many other committees at the church.She retired after 30 years with Baptist Hospital in the Anesthesiologist Department and volunteered at Palmetto Health Baptist Parkridge Hospital. Surviving is her daughter, Leslie DeLoache Graybill of Columbia; son, John Keith DeLoache of Columbia and brother, John Emmitt Thrailkill, Jr. of Columbia.She was preceded in death by her husband of 20 years, John Calvin Dukes and a son, Charles Kevin DeLoache.
