Harry J. Robarts

WEST COLUMBIA, SC—Harry J. Robarts, 89, of West Columbia, SC died Friday, April 29, 2016.Born in Gainesville, FL, he was the son of the late G. W. Robarts and Ruth Hunter Robarts. A private burial will be held at a later date. Temples Halloran Funeral Home is assisting the family. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy, serving during WWII.Harry was a graduate of Columbia High School in Lake City, FL and Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Florida. Surviving is his brother, Gene Robarts (Emily) of Lake City, FL; sisters, Lou Ann Turner (Dan) of Anderson, SC and Liz Robarts-Willhoit of West Columbia, SC along with 8 nieces and nephews.Harry was preceded in death by his loving wife, Helen F. Robarts and a son, Scott Robarts.
