James Wiley Dickerson,

COLUMBIA—Beloved Husband and Father, James Wiley Dickerson Jr., 86 of Columbia, SC, passed away at home on May 17, 2017. Jim is survived by his wife of 55 years, Linda and 2 sons, Wiley and John as well as Grandchildren, Claire, Will, George and Brock. He was born in Charlotte, North Carolina and lived most of his life in the Irmo area. He was a veteran of the US Air Force in the Korean War. He retired after 40 years with AT&T and was a member of Ashland United Methodist Church. He was happiest at home. He loved animals and he always had a dog as a constant companion. He enjoyed Gardening and could fix anything. He was a kind and gentle soul who was the epitome of a Southern Gentleman. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Temples Halloran Funeral Home, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29212 with burial in Bush River Memorial Gardens.The Reverend Tresco E.
