It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of James Leonard Latulipe, Jr, who left us on October 9, 2025. Born on May 21,1975 in Massena, New York. Jimmy was a man of remarkable talent, unwavering dedication, and deep love for his family.
Throughout his life, Jimmy had an extraordinary ability to master any industry or interest he pursued. Whether it was business, entrepreneurship, or personal passions, he quickly figured things out, found success, and often turned them into profitable ventures. His drive wasn’t just about achievement—it was rooted in a deep compassion for building a fruitful life for his family. He carried countless people and businesses into success, always leading with generosity and vision.
One of his greatest joys was diving into hobbies that brought him both excitement and opportunity. He had a keen interest in sports trading cards and was an avid football fan. Not only did he love watching the games, but he also found ways to turn his passion into profit, always staying busy and preparing for the next upgrade in life. His commitment to improving the quality of life for his loved ones was unmatched, and his family was always his top priority.
While he was proud of all his accomplishments, nothing brought him more pride than his beloved wife, Terra, and their three daughters: Madison, Sophia, and Scarlett. His love for them was the foundation of everything he did.
Jimmy is also survived by his mother Katherine Baublitz Mizell, father James Sr, sister Stacey Linton Latulipe and younger brothers Robbie Latulipe and Brian Latulipe. Many other very close relatives and friends who he considered family. His legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew him, and his impact will be felt for generations.
A celebration of life for Jimmy will be held at Temples-Halloran Funeral & Cremation Services; 5400 Bush River Rd, Columbia, SC 29212 on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation held one hour prior to the service where friends and family will gather to celebrate his life, share memories, and honor the incredible man he was.
