Jamie R. Mack

James Reece “Jamo” Mack, 54, of Columbia, passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2025. He was born in Columbia, South Carolina on June 25, 1970, to Stanton M. Mack and the late Janice Woody Lovett. 

Visitation will be held from 12:00pm to 1:00pm and services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, June 27, 2025, in the Chapel of Temples-Halloran Funeral Home, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, South Carolina, 29212. Burial will follow in Bush River Memorial Gardens. 

Jamie graduated from Irmo High School in 1988 and was an avid sports fan – particularly the USC Gamecocks – who loved being on the water and gathering with and cooking with friends and family. He loved music, particularly his 80’s hair bands, and was always ready to take a selfie with anybody. He worked as a store manager for Dollar General in Greenville, South Carolina. 

In addition to his father, those left to mourn his loss include his two daughters, Reece M. Mack and Riley E. Mack; his brother, Jason C. Mack (Sherry); and his half-sister, Lisa M. Mack. 

The family would like to express their gratitude to Ginny, Abbey, and Liz of Bon Secours St. Francis Downtown for their excellent care and attention. 

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation to Jamie’s Go Fund Me to assist with funeral expenses.
