Columbia- Joyce Jewel McDaniel, 89, passed away on Friday September 26, 2025.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm on Tuesday September 30, 2025 at Temples-Halloran Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
A native of Fackler, Alabama, Joyce was born on July 29, 1936 to Elexander and Bessie Little.
Joyce had a very loving, tender and warm heart. She loved helping people. She was very intelligent and motivated others to excel and achieve the most out of life. She loved ballroom dancing, where she met her life partner, Barry. She also loved music, puzzles, needlepoints, watching game shows, and caring for her grandchildren and her puppy, Royce.
In addition to her parents she is predeceased by four sisters and three brothers. Those left to cherish her memories include her husband of 40 years; Carter (Barry) McDaniel of Columbia, children; Fred Venable of Mobile, Alabama, a daughter; Kimberly Harris (Jeffrey) of Chapin, Nicole Venable of Batesburg-Leesville,
Michelle Newman (Roy) of Piermont, New Hampshire, Brandon McDaniel (Kate) of Charleston, a brother; Paul Little of Illinois and her beloved pets; Ace and Royce.
