Moses Lee Jackson

WEST COLUMBIA—Moses Lee Jackson, 68, of West Columbia, passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2016.He was born in Columbia, SC to the late Harvey Lee Jackson and Lucille Ellisor Jackson.He was a proud Veteran of the United States Army, serving in Vietnam from 1967-69. He is also a Purple Heart recipient. Moses was a retired auto mechanic. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. Surviving in addition to his beloved wife of 33 years, Katherine B. Jackson; daughters, Katherine Leann Jackson and Tiffany Rose Hutson; sons, J. Timothy Jackson (Shelby), Terry Lee Jackson and Richard J. Jackson; three grandchildren, Dawson, Owen and Ashley; sisters, Vera Threatt, Martha Harmon and Diane Watkins; brothers, Phillip Jackson and Thomas Jackson (Betty); along with several nieces and nephews.Preceded in death by his brother, James Paul Jackson. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Saturday, July 2, 2016 at Temples Halloran Funeral Home, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29212.
