Norma Jean Spires

A private crypt-side service will be held Thursday, September 30, 2021, at 10 am, at Bush River Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Norma Jean was born on July 23, 1934, in Pittsburgh, PA, and departed this life on September 24, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Anthony Drischler and Frances Paschel Drischler.She was a longtime member of The Basilica of St. Peter in Columbia.Norma Jean is remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Surviving are her loving husband of 63 years, Perry Lee Spires; daughter, Catherine Teter (Chris); sons, Byron Barnhardt, Dale Spires (Sonya), and Doug Spires (Ginger); 11 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
